Visualising a dream in Tanzania!
On completion of our Primary School in 2015, we knew that our next project had to be a new home for our family. The rented building is totally inadequate for the growing number of children in our care and the constant repairs to the run-down building is a drain on our financial resources.
In 2018 we teamed with NGO Article25 and started the planning process. Fast forward two years and we are ready to start the build. Our building project will consist of the following: 6 cottage style houses to cater for 60 children and babies. Each house will cater for 10 children and a live in Mama. Each cottage will be complete with solar panels, bathroom, shower, covered verandas and play area. Once we have reached this goal, our aim is to build the communal dining hall, library space, guest house and large recreation space for the children to play and run around in.
To fund the entire project to turn-key stage we need to raise one million euro. If you are in a position to help us to kick start our project, we would be most grateful!
